Wedding day fast approaching!

Well, our wedding will be in just over 2 weeks!!!!! WOW!! Can't believe it's coming up that quick! The outdoor wedding/reception will be loads of fun, but I'm especally looking forward to the honeymoon in Italy!! First time traveling to Europe for both of us so it'll be a fun time discovering Italy together.

Just a few minor details to complete before he big day, but for the most part everything is done!

I'll be sure to post photos of wedding and trip to Italy!

It's been almost 2 months!!!

I can't believe it's been almost 2 months since my last post!!! That's just not ok!!

I have been extremely busy with wedding preparations. Although our wedding will be a relatively small, intimate, outdoor event, there seems to be sooooooo much to do!! The wedding is in about 6 weeks and thankfully there isn't a whole lot of things left to do. RSVP cards are coming in now. We invited 75 but I suspect we'll have about 50. We'll see.

Anywho, I've spent some time reorganizing all my fabric and other craft supplies and in the process came up with loads of ideas!! Soon I will fit some of those ideas in and show you what I came up with!

Again, so sorry I haven't been around for a bit!

Just 102 more days to go!!

On May 28, 2011 I will become Mrs. James G. Connors! Wedding plants have been underway since last summer, but seem to be in full swing now!!

I ordered my bouquets today (from Etsy!!) and also the one-time-use cameras for the reception. Oh, oh, oh and the cake pans for the wedding cake. Yes, I do think I am going to attempt to make the cake myself! The wedding itself will be a relatively casual outdoor affair so don't need an elaborate, huge, fancy cake.

So excited! Still have lots to do, but know it'll all get done.

Busy, busy, busy!

I have not posted here in quite some time.

First of all, I suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm on October 30, had emergency surgery on October 31, spent 12 days in ICU, then spent the next 2 weeks sleeping A LOT as I recovered. Then, of course, we had Thanksgiving and Christmas to deal with. It has certainly been a crazy time!!

My recovery is going well. The incision area that runs along my hair line from the center of my forehead to my right ear is healing nicely.

One lesson I learned throughout this ordeal is that LIFE IS SO PRECIOUS!!!! It can be taken away from you in an instant. The fact that I have no deficiencies from the aneurysm is amazing. I AM VERY, VERY LUCKY.

Now, on to business!! Since my crafting was temporarily put on hold due to unexpected surgery then recovery, I am sooooooo excited to be working on my creations again!! I finished a crocheted ladies winter hat last night and have so many ideas for other things! So check back often as I will be posting photos of items I list in my Zibbet shop!
